Notice of Public Hearing

 

 

A public hearing will be held by the Office of Attorney General Jim Petro, on October 31, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in room 1865 of the Rhodes State Office Tower, located at 30 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio, 43215.

 

The purpose of the hearing will be to solicit public comment on the proposed amended rules to the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 109:7-1 titled "Medical Examination of Victim of Sexual Assault." The rules specify the protocol necessary for sexual assault medical examinations and payment for sexual assault medical examinations, as well as the payment amount. The amendments to the rules are being proposed to update terms in the current rules.

 

All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and present oral and/or written testimony. Written comments must be submitted to Mr. Doug Crew, Office of Attorney General, at 30 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215 no later than October 28, 2005. Copies of the proposed rules may be obtained by contacting Mr. Crew at the address given above or by calling [phone].
