1501:31-11-05. Restricted migratory bird hunting area; Mercer county

(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to possess, hunt or take ducks, geese, or any other migratory bird at any time without a permit from the division of wildlife on or within an area in Mercer county posted as "Restricted Zone Unlawful to Hunt Waterfowl" or "Public Hunting Area, Permit Required" or to trespass within an area posted as "Controlled Waterfowl Hunting Area, Trespass Permit Required" more particularly described as follows:

Located in Jefferson, Butler and Franklin townships, in Mercer county, beginning at the junction of state route 127 and Brown road, thence south on the east edge of state route 127 to the junction of state route 127 and state route 703, thence eastwardly on the north edge of state route 703 to the east side of the village of Montezuma, thence northward on the west edge of state route 219 to the junction of state route 219 and Windy Point road, thence north along Windy Point road to the northeast corner of Shademore landing, thence westwardly across Grand Lake St. Marys to the point of beginning. And beginning at a corner post at intersection of It's It road and state route 703, thence south 1,135 feet to a corner post, thence west 1,581 feet to a corner post, thence north 1,368 feet to a corner post, thence northwest along the old "C.H. & D Railroad" bed, 1,800 feet to a corner post, thence southeast along state route 703, 4,375 feet to the point of beginning containing approximately 67 acres more or less. All land described lies in southwest quarter section 19 and the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of section 30, Franklin township, Mercer county, Ohio and beginning at a corner post at the junction of It's It road and state route 703, thence southeast along state route 703, 2,310 feet to a corner post, thence south 910 feet to a corner post, thence west 100 feet to a corner post, thence south 160 feet to a corner post, thence west 900 feet to a corner post, thence south 480 feet, thence west 2,850 feet along state route 219 to a corner post, thence north 830 feet to a corner post, thence east 1,585 feet to a corner post, thence north 2,440 feet to place of beginning containing approximately 100 acres more or less. Situated in Franklin township, section 30, Mercer county.

(B) All definitions set forth in rule 1501:31-1-02 of the Administrative Code shall apply to this rule.
